Mediocrity is one of Femi's real dislikes. He needs a basic qualification in Photography.

The fact remains that there is no established school of photography in Nigeria.

Femi is direly in need of scholarship to enable study Photography abroad, as a course.

Femi has a vision of establishing a school of photography in Nigeria.

His goals are to:

Develop digital imaging in Africa.
Develop biomedical photography in Africa.
Discover and develop latent talents in photography.
Develop creativity in African photography.
Develop photo communications in Africa.
Improve on printing technology in Africa.
Organize conferences, workshops, and seminars on photography.
Organize competitions in photo aesthetics.
Publish photo essays.

PROVISIONAL OFFER OF A PLACE FOR FEMI
Presently, Femi has a provisional offer to study Photography at Reading College and School of Arts & Design, in England.
As earlier mentioned, Femi's vision is to establish a school of Photography in Nigeria, with the aim of developing African Photography.
Last year, 1999, Femi was given a provisional offer of a place at Reading College and School of Arts & Design for the 1999/2000 academic year (13th September, 1999 - 30th June, 2001). Due to lack of finances, he could not join the school. He wrote for a deferment of admission and was eventually granted.
He is now to join the 2000/2001 academic year (September 2000 - June 2002), believing that he would get financial assistance to attend the school.
Femi wishes to pursue the photography course to the Degree level.
The tution fee for the academic year 2000/2001 is �2,650 (Two thousand, six hundred and fifty pounds). This must be paid in full as a deposit to the college before the course starts. When the payment has been recieved, a formal letter of acceptance admitting him to the course will be sent to him. He will have to show the Letter of Acceptance to the Immigration Authorities at the port or airport at which he arrives before being admitted to England.
